The Parajet Maverick Cadet 2 paramotor puts the Maverick II’s airframe and safety engineering within reach of a first-machine budget, trading only the cosmetics: a gunmetal titanium frame, an uncoloured net and the standard throttle in place of the flagship’s finishes and options.

Nothing important was removed

The CADET II keeps what matters. Seamless titanium tubing gives the same strength-to-weight as the full Maverick II. Assembly and packdown are tool-free. The fuel tank is quick-release, the reserve side pocket is standard, and the smooth-edged frame geometry is the same one that makes Mavericks forgiving to launch. What you give up is coloured netting and throttle upgrades — not structure, not certification, not safety.

Choosing your Parajet Maverick Cadet 2 paramotor engine

Three Vittorazi engines are offered on the same airframe:

  • Ultralight — Atom 80: 16hp, 52kg thrust, engine 10.4kg, all-up 21.5kg. Pilots 50–85kg. The lightest CADET II, and the easiest to handle on the ground.
  • PRO — Moster 185 Plus: 25hp, 72kg thrust, engine 14.3kg, all-up 25.1kg. Pilots 80–120kg. The standard recreational build.
  • PRO DS — Moster 185 Plus DS: 25hp with electric start, 72kg thrust, engine 15.7kg, all-up 27.3kg. Pilots 80–120kg. Worth the extra weight if restarting in flight matters to you.

The price shown is for the Ultralight (Atom 80) build. The PRO and PRO DS builds with the Moster 185 Plus are also available to order: call us on 336-483-2244 and we will configure and price your machine.

  • Supplied with travel bag, propeller covers and toolkit

Flying it

On the ground the CADET II behaves like every Maverick: the cage geometry keeps lines clear through a reverse inflation, and the wide harness adjustment means one machine can be re-set for a different pilot in minutes — useful for a school, or a family sharing a motor. In the air the larger 1.44m cage and 1.3m propeller give a quieter, more efficient disc than the first-generation Cadet at the same throttle setting.

Which Cadet, and where it sits in the range

The Parajet Maverick Cadet 2 paramotor is built on the newer Maverick II platform with the larger cage and propeller, and adds the DS electric-start option. The first-generation Maverick CADET is lighter and cheaper on a 1.385m cage. For the CONNECT E Ink display and forged harness arms, step up to the Maverick II itself. Compare the whole paramotor range before committing.
